Friday, December 6, 2024 (7:30 AM - 9:00 AM) (EST)

Description

Partnering with the Philadelphia Foundation:
An Information Session

How We Grant

We've had the privilege of partnering with thousands of individuals, families, and businesses united by a common goal; to support countless nonprofits, advance community causes, and provide scholarships to leaders of tomorrow throughout our region. Over the years we've assisted nonprofits in assessing their impact and strategically planning for the future. Committed for the long haul, we consider ourselves a long-term partner dedicated to supporting those making a positive difference in our communities. Our commitment to enhancing the quality of life in our region enables us to offer:

    -  Advocacy, Direct Service, Fund for Children, Impact, and Leadership competitive grants

    -  Special Initiative Grants (Art Works, Black Community Leaders, Philadelphia District Attorney's Office
       Forfeiture Fund, and more)

    -  Scholarships

We provide grants to individuals and organizations in Philadelphia, Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks and Chester counties in PA, and Camden and Burlington counties in NJ.

Who We Are, What We Do

The Philadelphia Foundation is one of the nation’s first community foundations - and the largest devoted to improving lives in Greater Philadelphia. We drive service, philanthropic growth and impact by integrating deep relationships across the community, unique knowledge of local nonprofits, and philanthropic expertise.

Since our founding, we've awarded over $700 million in grants and scholarships. Our assets are currently comprised of 1,000+ pooled funds contributed by people committed to strengthening the economic, civic, and social vitality of our region
