The annual 5k Main Line Run/1.5 Mile Walk is organized by the Main Line Chamber Foundation to raise money for the Volunteer First Responder Scholarship Fund, which provides academic scholarships to volunteer firefighters and emergency medical technicians (EMTs). This day of community and service is held annually on a Sunday closest to September 11 to recognize volunteer firefighters and EMTs in and around the Main Line, who risk their lives every day serving our communities. Nearly 400 people participate every year as runners, walkers, volunteers and sponsors, and firetrucks, music, and a Health and Fitness Expo add to the activities of the day. It’s a family-friendly event, with children and pets often participating in the fun!We need your help! More than ever before, your support is critical as we seek to continue the Volunteer Emergency Responders Scholarship program. Thanks to last year's support, the Foundation was able to provide $50,000 in scholarships during the Hometown Heroes event this past June. To date, the Foundation has awarded more than $750,000 in scholarships, thanks to the generosity of individuals and businesses in our community.
Support those who serve our community by sponsoring the annual Main Line Run/Walk. Sponsorship offers valuable visibility for your organization, including event participation, complimentary race entries, logo placement on event T-shirts, and recognition across all promotional materials.
