Evan is a member of the Bernstein Philadelphia leadership team, where he helps guide the office's strategic direction and the advisory experience delivered to its clients. In this role he works alongside his fellow leaders to ensure advisors and service teams have the resources, expertise, and coordination needed to deliver a consistently high standard of planning and client care.

As National Advisory Lead for Non-Profits & Philanthropic Advisory, Evan works with non-profits, foundations, and families across the firm to design investment strategies that align with their missions and maximize impact. Drawing on his background as a former non-profit leader and public service executive, he brings Bernstein's research, talent, and network to bear on each client's goals, serving as a partner in their organization's or family's success.

Karyn Lyman
Vice President & Wealth Advisor
Nonprofit & Foundation Advisory

Karyn Lyman is a Vice President and Wealth Advisor in the Philadelphia office of Bernstein Private Wealth Management. Her practice focuses primarily on advising and supporting the nonprofit and philanthropic communities as well as charitable families and individuals.

Karyn joined the firm in 2023 after 24 years a nonprofit manager and chief fundraiser, spanning institutional giving, major giving, membership and planned giving programs, with organizations including the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation, Philadelphia Outward Bound School, Theatre Horizon, Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers, PlayPenn, Lantern Theater Company, and Theatre Development Fund. Karyn’s lived experience resonates with the community she works with as she deeply understands the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
