Join us for a special Women’s History Month fireside chat featuring Ms. Abbott, the real-life namesake behind the hit TV show Abbott Elementary. Ms. Abbott is an acclaimed retired educator and U.S. Army veteran whose dedication to students inspired her former student Quinta Brunson to create the popular show. Her book, Teaching, the Ms. Abbott Way: Lessons in Learning, Leadership & Life!, shares lessons on community, setting high expectations, respectful leadership, and self-care. Ms. Abbott will share her journey as a trailblazing teacher, lessons on perseverance, purpose, and representation, and how one person’s passion can spark meaningful change. She will be interviewed by Celeste Warren, former Vice President of Global Diversity and Inclusion at Merck. She is the founder of Celeste Warren Consulting LLC, which empowers organizations to create fair and equitable opportunities for all, driving meaningful change and enhancing workplace culture.Featured Nonprofit: TBA
